News Flash:  The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) adopts NFPA 1936... 
On Sept 18, 2007, the National Fire Protection Association announced that the DHS adopted the NFPA 1936 Standard.  The adoption of this standard helps establish minimum requirements for federal, state and local officials who are purchasing rescue tools.

        and rescue tools that UL tests to the NFPA 1936 standard?
